The Guarana is a plant native to the Amazon basin and common in Brazil. The Guarana feature large leaves and clusters of flowers. Well known for the fruit, which are about the size of a coffee bean. Fruit color ranges from brown to red and contains black seeds which are covered by white arils. The fruit looks similar to an eyeball. Guarana is used in sweetened or carbonated soft drinks or energy shots.
